Why Choose an Oil Boiler?

Oil-fired boilers are a popular alternative to gas for rural and off-grid properties. They operate similarly to gas boilers, delivering dependable central heating and hot water—but with added flexibility.

Key Benefits:

• Freedom to choose your fuel supplier

• Competitive running costs compared to LPG and electric heating

• High efficiency ratings (many modern oil boilers exceed 90% efficiency)

• Reliable heat output for larger properties

• Ideal for homes in rural Kent without mains gas access

• Modern oil boilers are cleaner, quieter, and more efficient than ever before, with advanced controls and smart thermostat compatibility for improved energy management.

Choosing your New Oil Boiler

Choosing the right boiler is essential for efficiency and comfort.
Aquaheat provide expert advice to ensure your system matches your property size, water demand, and budget.

Combi Boiler

This system is perfect for small to medium-sized homes with modest hot water needs.

It heats water on demand, meaning hot water is available instantly when required. There is no need for a separate hot water cylinder, which helps to save space within the property. Its compact design makes it ideal for homes where space is limited.

System Boiler

An oil system boiler installation is ideal for homes with multiple bathrooms.

It stores hot water in a dedicated cylinder, allowing it to supply hot water to several taps simultaneously. This design provides more stable and consistent water pressure, making it well suited to households with higher hot water usage.

Regular Boiler

An oil regular (conventional) boiler installation is best suited to larger homes with high hot water demand.

It requires both a hot water cylinder and a separate cold-water storage tank to operate effectively. This system is an excellent choice for traditional heating setups and offers high capacity and long-term reliability.

Oil Boiler Installation Costs

The cost of oil boiler installation depends on several important factors, including the boiler type and output, the size of your property, and whether a new oil tank is required. Homes with higher hot water demand will need a larger, more powerful boiler, which increases equipment costs. Additional upgrades, such as new radiators or replacement pipework, can also affect the total price.

In most cases, new oil boilers range from £1,000 to £5,000, with installation costs reaching up to £3,000 depending on complexity. A straightforward replacement will typically cost less, while first-time oil boiler installation is usually more expensive due to the need to supply and fit a compliant oil storage tank.

To ensure accurate pricing, Aquaheat Ashford carry out a full home assessment and provide transparent, no-obligation quotes with no hidden charges, giving you complete confidence in your investment.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would highly recommend AQUAHEAT and all of their engineers. I’ve been using them for many years and have always been really impressed, which is why I continue to come back to them. The workmanship is consistently first class, but what really stands out is their exceptional customer service that they have maintained as the company has grown. From the first call to make an appointment, everyone is friendly, professional and helpful. The engineers are always considerate and take great care in my home, which I really appreciate. They also have excellent systems in place, with prompt quotes, invoices and guarantees, reminders when your annual service is due, and clear, professional advice if any further work is needed. A particular thank you to Brad for his recent work. As always, he was friendly, professional and took great care, and the work was carried out to a really high standard. A great company that genuinely cares about its customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend AQUAHEAT

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We cannot recommend AquaHeat highly enough for servicing Air conditioning units. We have had our air con units for 5 or so years now and have always used the company that installed them to do the yearly service. However, we needed a company that was more local to take the servicing over due to time restraints. From the outset, our emails and questions were all answered swiftly by Beckie, and everything was explained clearly. On the day, the engineer, Brad, arrived 10 minutes early and was knowledgeable, polite and professional. The servicing and deep clean were done efficiently, and everything was left immaculate. As a busy chiropractic clinic in Ashford, we needed a company that could work around our time constraints, and the team at AquaHeat certainly made it very easy for us.
